Responsibilities:
What You Will Be Doing:
--- The Controller is responsible for accounting operations, the production of financial reports, and the maintenance of accounting records
--- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority-setting skills
--- Understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and banking
--- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement
--- Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
--- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
--- Prepare and execute bank deposits, verifying and balancing receipts
--- Coordinating and directing budgeting, procurement, and financial planning.
--- Commission tracking and calculations
--- Processing payroll on a semi-monthly basis
--- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards
--- Monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, and reports
--- Prepare and maintain financial metrics for reporting
--- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all month-end processes and year-end financial statements for both
--- External and internal processes
--- Prepare entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
--- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
--- Responsible for the compliance and execution of all financial controls and procedures within the business

Qualifications:
Required:
--- Expert level experience with QuickBooks
--- Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel
--- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
--- Willingness to learn and be coached
--- Adaptable to an adjustable, fast-changing industry
--- Desire to collaborate in a friendly, team environment
--- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
--- On-site attendance

Preferred:
--- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting
--- CPA License
