Job Description:

Our client a global manufacturing company is seeking a staff accountant for a temp to hire position. The position requires a

good understanding of GAAP accounting principles and International Financial reporting standards (IFRS) with a preference for strong balance sheet reconciliation experience. Additionally the ability to prepare financial reports and analysis ability. Daily the position will be responsible for the preparation of a monthly balance sheet account analysis and process general ledger entries for month-end closing.

As well as preparing journal entries for monthly accruals, filing of sales and used tax filing, assisting in the preparation and coordination of the audit process, including audited financial statements and footnotes. The ability to prepare consolidating financial statements including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system. The position is suited for someone who possesses attention to detail and accuracy, planning,organizing, scheduling,monitoring, problem solving skills,as well as calm under pressure.
