Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with an exciting organization in the Melville, Long Island area. This is a hybrid role (3 days in, 2 days remote). Must live commutable to Melville, Long Island. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven experience handling full-cycle accounts payable processes. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently while following company policies and procedures. Review and verify invoice accuracy, completeness, and required approvals. Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) in a timely manner. Manage accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors. Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounts payable records. Process due invoices and organize payments for approval. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses. Perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling accounts. Qualifications Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. APPLY TODAY to this excellent Accounts Payable Career Opportunity!
