JOB OVERVIEW / WHAT A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE: The Network
Engagement Project Coordinator will contribute to the overall goal
of strategically and thoughtfully distributing more than 85 million
pounds of food across the agency network based on community need
and agency capacity. The Network Engagement Project Coordinator is
responsible for supporting product allocations, customer data
management, capacity building efforts, and overseeing the
day-to-day operations of departmental projects - ensuring they are
completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
standards. They will work closely with Network Engagement and
Capacity team members and stakeholders to coordinate tasks, manage
resources, and track progress for annual and ad-hoc department
projects. The Network Engagement Project Coordinator will report to
the Director of Network Engagement. Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Support and Daily Operations: Provide administrative
support to team members on projects that lead to improvements in
departmental operations and team impact. Track and report on
project progress, escalate potential risks and issues to team
members, and assist in ensuring adherence to the planned budget.
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to help ensure timely
completion of project deliverables. Assist Network Engagement team
members in planning, organizing, and coordinating daily activities
and administrative priorities in service to department objectives.
Administrative Management: Manage essential project-related
administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, organizing
meeting logistics, and managing expenses. Provide support for the
organization of project kickoff meetings, status updates, and
closing meetings. Assist in preparing and distributing project
documentation, reports, and presentations. Contribute data and
content to monthly and annual departmental reports. Customer Data
Management: Responsible for supporting product allocations (as
directed) and overall customer data management. Help maintain
accurate and up-to-date customer files (physical and digital)
according to organizational policies and regulations. Compliance
Timeline Oversight: Oversee the annual agency compliance timeline,
assisting team members to ensure all agencies receive site visits
in accordance with annual plans. Maintain and track required
documentation for all network agencies in compliance with Feeding
America guidelines and team standards. Network Capacity Building
Support: Follow up on feedback and recommendations from
assessments, supporting the implementation of action items (e.g.,
coordinating financial investments, processing changes to service
delivery, or scheduling additional training). Support
organizational capacity-building efforts for the agency network by
helping deliver training and resources, assisting with the annual
partner survey and summarizing key insights, providing
administrative support for grant programs, and helping maintain
updated tools and materials on the City Harvest website and Harvest
Hub Agency Feedback Consolidation: Organize and consolidate
feedback gathered from agencies through various means. Administer
surveys or ensure surveys are administered as needed. Compile
received feedback and report on themes for managerial review. WHAT
YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE: Knowledge 1: Proficiency in
project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com,
Microsoft Planner). Knowledge 2: Basic understanding of the
emergency food network and food insecurity in New York City.
Technical Skills: Proven experience in project coordination or
administrative support. Strong organizational and time management
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention
to detail and ability to multitask. Strong problem-solving and
decision-making skills. Required Experience: 2-3 years of work
experience Bilingual; preference will be given to those who speak
Spanish Education: High school diploma or equivalent required WHY
