to the health of communities. Essential Functions: • Work with lead
faculty to plan, implement, and evaluate assigned course offering
to maintain quality and effectiveness. • Monitor student progress
closely provides advisement and follow-up throughout the term. •
Serve as a role model with consistent demonstration of professional
characteristics including professional attire, punctuality,
self-awareness (regular examination strengths and needs), effective
communication (students, staff, and faculty), & respect
confidentiality. • Demonstrate competence in the use of technology,
software, and programs (e.g. general use of a computer, Office 365,
SIS- SonisWeb/Campus Management, LMS-Blackboard/Canvas, and
audiovisual equipment). • Maintain and enhance continued competence
in the area of professional expertise and responsibility-
pharmacology. Requirements: • Master’s degree with a major in
nursing, nursing administration, nursing education, public health
nursing or a nursing specialty; AND • Two full-time years of
verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the
professional level; one year of nursing work experience at the
professional level must be within the five years immediately
preceding application date. • Current New York State Registered
Nurse (RN) license Preferred Qualifications: • Higher education
teaching experience with diverse student population • Experience
with learning communities or team teaching • Experience in
curriculum development • Experience incorporating technology into
curriculum delivery, including web enhanced and online instruction
• Experience developing and using student centered, active and
experiential learning strategies • Experience integrating cross
cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives in course instruction •
Experience assessing student academic achievement of campus wide
and classroom learning outcomes • Experience with accelerated adult
learning • Experience in Canvas Coursework navigation • Experience
