that provides program management and facilities engineering
services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of
planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting,
engineering, and construction management services in support of the
US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force,
Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies,
all over the world. The Senior Robotics Engineer will be
responsible for reviewing the concepts developed by the team to
ensure that the robot arm will operate as intended and meet the
requirements of the client. The Senior Robotics Engineer will also
conduct inspections and testing of new robot capabilities and
features developed by the team, to ensure quality compliance with
requirements and high-quality outputs.This role is partially remote
work set up and must be physically present once or twice a week in
Planate Subic Office where the robot unit is located.Salary: Our
salary range for this position is based on the market data, Php 800
to Php 1000 (the offer depends on the experience).Key
responsibilities: -
- Collaborate amongst teams to better understand the
characteristics and performance of robot arm
- Develop new standards for robot software production and design,
with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for
implementation across all service lines (hardware, operations, and
software)
- Solve problems related to robot functionality or design that
are identified by engineers or other team members
- Review, analyze, and provide critical inputs to developed
concepts and programs to allow the robot to function the specific
tasks.
- Implement safety measures to prevent the robot from causing
damage to itself or others when performing its tasks.
- Documentations of test performance, record test procedures, and
results
- Maintain high standards by participating in reviews, designing
for fault tolerance and operational excellence, and creating
mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Report directly to the Project-in-Charge to discuss the
project's status and other problems discovered throughout the robot
arm's testing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications To be
successful in the role: -
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or Computer Programming
- Experience in the design/programming of any robotic
machines
- At least 10 years of experience as a robot technician, QA for
robotics or equivalent field
- Demonstrated strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge in AutoDesk Investor or C solid works- 3D model and
3D printing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a creative
