And if it's outside, we're all in. L.L.Bean is currently searching for an Intranet Operations Manager to join our team in Human Resources located in Freeport, Maine. This highly important role will manage the day-to-day operations of the L.L.Bean intranet, partnering closely with the Manager of Employee Communications and the IS infrastructure team to ensure the intranet meets business and employee needs. The Intranet Operations Manager takes the lead on ensuring appropriate governance structure and adherence to standards are in place to protect the integrity of the intranet for the long-term. With input from others, they will develop and execute a strategy for the continued evolution of L.L.Bean's digital workplace. Responsibilities Manage the ongoing operations of the L.L.Bean Intranet. Work in partnership with the Manager of Employee Communications to ensure the content, use, and infrastructure of the intranet meet business and employee needs. Assume responsibility for setting the governance structure for the intranet and partnering with others across the organization to ensure adherence. Provide guidance to all corporate users of the intranet, working closely with owners of hubs and department sites to ensure a clean and cohesive intranet is maintained. Work with key stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, providing direction and guidance on how to structure department sites, etc. Involve partners in planning and problem solving to ensure shared commitment to the governance model As needed, partner with Manager of Employee Communications to review content and proposed sites from writers and site owners from around the company, approving or providing direction for alternative approaches as needed. Partner with the IS Infrastructure team to resolve technical issues associated with the intranet and to evaluate new technology to expand our digital workplace capabilities. With input from others, develop recommendations for ongoing development of the intranet and our evolving digital workplace. Present recommendations to the Intranet Governance Committee and Executive Team as appropriate. Contribute to the strategic direction of HR as a member of the HR leadership team. Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate HR vision and strategic plan. Develop and manage to operational budget for assigned area.
