The standard duties of the LPN are:

Managing IVs
Ensuring patients and their families understand release instructions
Supervising CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants)
Monitoring fluid and food intake and output
Moving patients safelyQualifications of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Valid NY state license and certification
- Proof of residency
- SS card
- Physical with Labs (Influenza documentation)
- Reference letters (Professional and personal)
- Resume
- CPR
