Schedule Full Time 12.5 Flex Shift: 12.5 HOUR DAYS Job Description The professional registered nurse (RN) assumes responsibility for the nursing care provided to a selected number of patients. This role involves considering the patient’s stage of development according to the lifecycle. The scope of practice includes diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as case-finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being. Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols. - Coordinate with the healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. - Educate patients and families about health management and recovery plans. - Document patient care activities in a timely and accurate manner. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing (BSN preferred) - Must have RN experience in open heart surgery - Current and valid New York State registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Clinical experience/skills relevant to the assigned area of practice - Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills - Computer proficiency Why ARMStaffing?
