We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in New York beginning Jan 1, 2026. This role is based in a pediatric cardiac ICU within a trauma setting, with a primary need for night shifts and some flexibility regarding day shifts. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Jan 1, 2026 LOA: 30 days Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Night shifts are the primary need; day shifts may be available depending on the candidate Responsibilities and Duties Provide advanced care to critically ill pediatric patients in a cardiac ICU Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a trauma environment Manage and monitor pediatric cardiac ICU cases, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient status Document and update patient records in accordance with facility protocols Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding patient care plans Additional Information Current nurse practitioner license required in New York Experience in pediatric cardiac ICU or similar critical care environment strongly preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
