Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Radiologic Technologist I position is available for a contract role
focused on producing high-quality diagnostic radiographic
examinations. The role demands technical skill in patient
positioning, equipment operation, and radiation safety, ensuring
diagnostic accuracy while prioritizing patient comfort and care.
Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations
with proper patient positioning and immobilization. Select and
operate imaging equipment tailored to individual patient needs. Use
radiation beam restriction techniques to minimize exposure to
unaffected areas. Conduct portable x-ray exams across various
hospital settings including patient rooms and emergency areas.
Accurately label and handle x-ray films, developing images using
established processing methods. Assist physicians with preparation
and administration of radiopaque contrast media. Manage
administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, patient
instructions, and record maintenance. Provide patient assistance
for mobility and positioning during imaging procedures. Maintain
orderly workspaces according to departmental guidelines.
Communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds,
accommodating special needs related to age, culture, or
disabilities. Follow all organizational competencies and safety
standards. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proven experience
as a Radiologic Technologist or in a similar imaging role.
Proficient knowledge in operating radiology equipment and safety
protocols. Ability to lift and maneuver patients and equipment as
required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with
a diverse patient population. Attention to detail and commitment to
