Neurohospitalist Opening in Connecticut Location: Meriden, CT (156-bed hospital) with additional campuses in New Britain, CT and Southington, CT (414 beds) Nearby Cities: New Britain, CT 5 m; Hartford, CT 20 mType: Full-Time, Employed Setting: Inpatient, Consultative Service Only New Grads: Yes (academic support/teaching opportunities) Opportunity: Seeking BC/BE Neurologists to join its Neurohospitalist team across Meriden, New Britain, and Southington campuses. These facilities are Joint-Commission certified Primary Stroke Centers and offer an outstanding collaborative environment for acute neurology care. Position Highlights:Consultative service only - manage a wide range of acute neurological issues in ED, medical/surgical floors, and ICUs Schedule: 24 weeks of inpatient coverage/year - A "week" is 7 consecutive days, 8AM-8PM - Evening call coverage shared by telephone - Weekend evenings covered by Teleneurology Comfort with acute stroke care is essential Teaching and Supervision: opportunities to train and mentor residents, fellows, students, and APPs Didactics: weekly Grand Rounds, monthly Neurohospitalist lecture series, EEG conference Academic Engagement: opportunities in research, QI, patient experience, interviews, and public/professional lectures Compensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement Malpractice with tail coverage Paid CME with stipend Generous PTO Sign-on and relocation assistance available
