Job Description Our client, a distinguished healthcare

hiring a Neurologist – Associate Director of Stroke. This pivotal

advancing neurological research. Responsibilities: Support and
oversee the development and management of the hospital’s Stroke
Program, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory
standards. Lead efforts to maintain and elevate Stroke Center
certifications, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance
with accreditation requirements. Provide comprehensive clinical
care through outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations,
actively participating in acute stroke evaluations. Develop,
implement, and refine stroke care protocols and clinical workflows
to optimize patient outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams, including emergency medicine, nursing, and ancillary
services, to ensure seamless stroke management. Engage in data
analysis, review performance metrics, and spearhead initiatives
aimed at continuous quality improvement. Contribute to EEG
interpretation and related diagnostic services, leveraging
preferred EEG expertise. Participate in teaching and academic
activities aligned with the organization’s newly launched neurology
residency program, with pathways to advanced academic roles
including Program Director. Serve as a clinical and educational
resource within the neurology department, fostering a culture of
excellence and innovation. Requirements: MD or DO degree from an
accredited medical school. Board certification or eligibility in
Neurology. Active or eligible New York State medical license and
DEA certification. Proven experience in stroke care; leadership
within a stroke program preferred. EEG experience strongly
preferred. Open to general neurologists and specialists across all
subspecialties. Demonstrated interest in academic medicine,
teaching, and program development. Excellent communication,
