Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Pulmonologist to join our medical team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with chronic or severe breathing conditions. You should be skilled in internal medicine and cardiopulmonary systems, diagnosing and treating structural, inflammatory, infectious, and neoplastic respiratory disorders. Responsibilities Consult with patients to understand symptoms and health concerns. Diagnose and treat conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, etc. Use and interpret various pulmonological exams and tests (e.g., CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, bronchoscopies). Perform specialized procedures like pleural biopsies for lung analysis. Provide immunizations for preventable cardiopulmonary diseases. Maintain detailed patient records, including treatments and test results. Provide ongoing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care. Participate in research to advance pulmonological treatments and methodologies. Qualifications Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Experience: 3-7 years of internship and clinical residency in pulmonology. Certification: Board-certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonology. Licensing: Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice. Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and analytical abilities. Other: Flexibility in working hours. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
