WEB PRODUCTION DESIGNER
 
Modis has an immediate contract opening for a Web Production Designer with our client, the largest online retailer in the US!
 
Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented, fast hands web production designer with proven eCommerce experience and a passion for clothing and retail. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and deadline-oriented who has demonstrated success translating design concept into actual web optimized assets. This includes performing image & design updates for all  assets as well as assisting senior team members to create marketing asset creation (e.g. social assets, banner ads, email banners and etc.).
 
Responsibilities:
- Creation/ resizing of static and animated web assets based on approved creative.
- Keep the tight deadline for daily production schedule with senior team members.
- Interface with senior team members to proof arts before assets are finalized and uploaded.
- Maintain clear and constructive communication with other designers and merchant team.
 
Basic Qualifications:
 
- 2+ years experience in web design and production
- Strong Mac experience
- Intermediate to advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Solid understanding of HTML/XHTML and CSS
- Time management skills
- Light-level of retouching photos
- Ability to learn the work process quickly
- Knowledge on Excel
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
-   Aptitude for quick creative thinking and light retouching is must
-   Well-organized; time management skills a must
-   Acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
-   Strong interest in technology, e-commerce, fashion and retail
 
What will be the day-to-day activities for this role?
- Creation/ resizing of static and animated web assets based on approved creative (Creation/Design of Event Assets)
- Keep the tight deadline for daily MyHabit production schedule with senior team member. Deadline is daily.
- Follow up on the project status with the Project Manager and the Team Leader daily
- Interface with senior team members to proof arts before assets are finalized and uploaded
 
***PLEASE NOTE***
- This is a one-month contract assignment. Our client will have additional contract needs in May and July as well as October to December. Great opportunity for freelancers to contract with one of the most reputable online retailers in the world!
