Engineer role, you will: • Engage in the engineering of secure and
scalable virtualized edge computing solutions. • Participate in
engineering activities including product selection, design,
development, deployment, integration, and test of infrastructure
platforms. • Apply automation tools and technologies to streamline
system deployment. • Support the interface and integration with
different systems, software, and sensors. • Support customer and
corporate events and exercises to test future capabilities for the
warfighter. WHO YOU ARE You have a Bachelors degree in a
Computer/System Engineering or related field and at least 2 years
of professional experience. You are interested in a career where
you will solve problems and develop solutions on a daily basis. You
enjoy a good challenge and excel in an environment where you can
collaborate with other motivated engineers. Must be willing to work
onsite, traveling between multiple sites within the campus (5 mile
radius) as well as be willing to travel domestically or

Qualifications • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer
Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Science, or related
discipline • Administration/Deployment experience with a Linux
Operating System (Preferably RHEL6/8 experience) • Minimum of 2
years professional experience supporting development and deployment
on Linux platforms • Experience with deployment and configuration
of hypervisor platforms (preferably Linux KVM or VMWare). •
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, and
bash • Experience working in a systems/software engineering
environment, using agile tools, automation, and applying best
practices • Familiarity and experience with computer/server
hardware, components, and peripherals • Ability to obtain and
maintain a Secret Security Clearance Desired skills • Linux or Red
Hat Linux (RHSA/RHCE) certification • Experience with Network
devices and their configuration • Experience with software
containerization • Experience with system hardening and
cybersecurity best practices • Excellent communication skills,
especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to
both technical and non-technical staff • DoD-8570 IAT Level 2

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. National Pay Statement The base range for this
position in New Jersey is $75000 - $135,961. Benefits offered:

Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general
