Job Description Job Description Litigation Associate Litigation Associate - Civil/Commercial Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate with a focus on civil and commercial cases. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our litigation practice group by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with trial preparation. This position focuses on delivering high-quality legal services to our clients in various civil and commercial matters. If you have 2 years of experience in litigation and are looking to join a team with a clear path for growth, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation cases Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Assist in depositions and trial preparation activities Manage discovery processes and document review Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about case developments Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients Maintain organized case files and documentation Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial tactics Qualifications License to practice in the state of NJ JD from an accredited law school 2 years of experience in litigation Strong legal writing and research skills Proficiency in deposition preparation and trial preparation Knowledge of civil procedure and rules Excellent negotiation and client communication skills Experience in civil and commercial litigation cases Benefits - Hybrid work options - Medical, dental, vision insurance - Life insurance and Disability coverage - 401(k) plan - Time off benefits - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
