catastrophe modeling, financial services, or Insurtech
(preferred).ResponsibilitiesAs a risk consulting associate within
the Insurance Advisory Team, you will work with more experienced
colleagues on all aspects of projects, from initial exploratory
conversations and project definition, to delivery of projects to
clients. You will be part of a 40+ strong team with over 400 years
of combined experience. Early in your career, you will be given
responsibility for specific project elements to develop your
consulting and project management skills.Recent project examples
include:
- Helping global clients respond to regulatory climate change
stress tests.
- Modeling cyber catastrophe bonds for risk transfer into capital
markets.
- Working with utilities on wildfire risk understanding and
mitigation.
- Assisting a global (re)insurer with capabilities on Moody's
Cloud-based IRP platform.You will receive extensive training on
Moody's Insurance Solutions, markets, and opportunities,
contributing to various projects and potentially specializing over
time.About the teamThe Insurance Advisory Team leads in risk
quantification and management, addressing growing demand for
climate and catastrophe risk analytics across sectors. We deliver
analytical, advisory, and technology services including risk
transfer consulting, systemic risk assessment, and risk analytics
innovation. Joining us offers a chance to influence a dynamic

salary range is $78,500-$113,750, depending on experience and other
