York State, New York City, Connecticut, with a state-of-the-art
rail served landfill located in Ohio. We cater to a diverse range

business family style culture. Essential Job Summary:: The Outside
Sales Representative is mainly responsible for new business
acquisition while maintaining leveraging customer relationships
within a book of business in the assigned geographic area. This
opportunity requires a dynamic sales professional with the ability
to cross sell across a diverse customer base and vertically
integrate Interstate Waste service into high value, complex
accounts. Essential Job Functions: To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

be assigned. Conduct daily street-level solicitation of businesses
to promote and sell waste services. Build and maintain a robust
book of business by acquiring new accounts and fostering
relationships with existing customers. Identify and pursue
opportunities for growth within your assigned territory, targeting
businesses that require waste management solutions. Develop and
implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets,
with a focus on securing new contracts and renewing existing ones.
Utilize effective sales techniques and negotiation skills to
overcome objections, address customer concerns, and close deals.
Collaborate closely with the sales team, operations, and customer
service departments to ensure seamless service delivery and
customer satisfaction. Stay informed about industry trends, market
dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and
maintain a competitive edge. Continuously seek opportunities to
expand product offerings and upsell additional services to existing
clients, maximizing revenue potential. Maintain accurate records of
sales activities, customer interactions, and account updates in the
CRM system. Requirements and Qualifications:: Proven track record
of success in commercial sales, preferably in waste management or a
related industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
Results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed sales targets and
maximize commission potential. Ability to work independently and
manage time effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, with a focus on
customer acquisition and retention. Familiarity with CRM software
(e.g, Salesforce) and sales tracking tools is a plus. Fluency in
English required, Spanish is a plus. Must have geographic knowledge
of assigned area. Driver’s license is required; must be comfortable
driving throughout the day High school diploma required; bachelor's
