Job Description Job Description Lab Assistant – Join a Growing, Industry?Leading Team About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail?oriented Lab Assistant to support daily laboratory operations within a top 100 company known for growth, stability, and internal advancement. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth day?to?day workflow in a fast?paced lab environment. Full training is provided, with opportunities to grow into compounding, filling, and other advanced roles. What You’ll Do Prepare vial pans by rinsing with W.F.I. and washing vials daily using the Cozzoli GW?24 Vial Wash Unit . Accurately label vial pans with product and batch information. Prepare media according to manufacturing SOPs and complete all associated documentation. Clean laboratory glassware and operate the autoclave. Review equipment logbooks and verify calibration status. Support general lab functions such as restocking, sterilization, and processing. Participate in cross?training to expand your lab skill set and career opportunities. What We’re Looking For Ability to lift and invert 25?pound trays repeatedly for short intervals. Ability to read and write in English with strong attention to detail. Basic math skills. Prior lab experience is helpful, but not required —we will train the right candidate! Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in lab environments, biology, or general laboratory procedures. Familiarity with autoclaves, sterilization techniques, and/or material handling. Work Environment This is a hands?on role in a fast-paced, highly collaborative lab setting. You will be working on your feet and lifting materials regularly. Tasks may include: Lifting and flipping 17–21 lb metal trays (up to 50 trays at a time). Cleaning and lifting empty glass carboys. Handling raw material trays up to 35 lbs. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
