Job Description Job Description The Accounts Receivable (AR)
Clerk / Cash Application Specialist is responsible for accurately
posting and reconciling customer payments in a timely manner using
an ERP System. This role ensures all incoming payments are
correctly applied to customer accounts and invoices, supports
accurate cash flow, and contributes to overall AR efficiency and
financial reporting. Responsibilities Process and apply customer
payments received via ACH, wire transfers, lockbox, and credit card
transactions. Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash,
short payments, and discrepancies. Maintain daily cash application
logs and reconcile bank deposits to the general ledger. Partner
with the Credit & Collections team to resolve account issues and
payment variances. Post adjustments, credits, and write?offs in
accordance with company policies and audit requirements. Assist
with month?end close, including cash reconciliation and reporting.
Monitor and maintain accurate customer balances and aging reports.
Generate and analyze unapplied cash reports and identify payment
trends. Collaborate with IT and Finance on process improvements and
automation within Oracle and D365. Support internal and external
audit requests by providing documentation related to cash receipts
and AR activity. Key Requirements 3 years of experience in Accounts
Receivable or Cash Application. Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP
and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Skills &
Competencies Strong understanding of accounting principles related
to cash management and AR. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
tools. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong reconciliation
and problem?solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork
skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast?paced
environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing
or distribution environments. Familiarity with automated cash
application tools or banking interfaces. Knowledge of lockbox
processing and payment portals. Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per
