Job Description Job Description Law firm is currently seeking
several Attorneys with 5–10 years of experience in one or more of
the following practice areas: Construction Accident / New York
Labor Law Defense – Defending clients in high-exposure construction
and workplace accident claims. Insurance Defense (Connecticut
Practice) – Handling a variety of liability and coverage matters;
admission in New York is highly desirable. Medical Malpractice
Defense – Representing healthcare professionals and institutions in
complex litigation. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an
accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the
New York Bar (or pending admission). Connecticut Bar admission
required only for candidates applying for the Connecticut-based
insurance defense role. Strong legal research, analytical, and
writing abilities. Proven experience conducting and defending
depositions. Excellent communication skills and attention to
detail. Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload with
guidance from partners as appropriate. Draft pleadings, motions,
discovery demands, and responses. Prepare detailed legal memoranda
and case evaluations. Attend court conferences, hearings, and
mediations. Conduct and defend depositions and site inspections.
Collaborate with expert witnesses and clients throughout the
litigation process. Assist with trial preparation and, when
applicable, participate in trials.
